Chateau Ste Michelle Eroica 2008 from Washington State. A seductive smell with a nuanced note of a crisp baking apple, mineral almost with touch of spicy cinnamon, with impressions of lemon verbena and bay leaf. While not totally dry, it is blessed with very assertive acids that help reinforce the wonderful deep and fresh core of wild apples. |
